What is the BigSite?

The BigSite is a unique web store and support site that features video products and mini `infomercials` about items available on the Internet.  As multi-media overspreads the online experience, shopping and product information also is moving that direction, however there are not many web locations that offer the dual purpose of letting you see the actual product in video form and still give you one clearinghouse for those different and unique offerings.  Our videos feature different and varied subjects from dozens of sites and shopping stops right here!  In future updates, we also intend to ease this experience into an easy-to-use format.  However, right now, if you watch a video it just takes one click to get more information, see the seller`s website, or purchase.  The following information is intended to help you understand the difference between buying here and a typical retail web site, like shipping and handling, returns, etc.  Basically, the BigSite shows you the item, and when you click on it you then see who actually sells the item.....that simple!!!

What is the cost for shipping?

At the BigSite, all items are completely dependent on the retailer of the items featured. We are a central location for other web pages and the purchase and shipping methods of each web site is featured during their own checkout and shipping procedures. Normally, costs of this kind you will find will not run over 10 percent of the cost of the item, unless it is extremely heavy or inexpensive. If you find a retailer that you think is charging excessive shipping and handling fees, report them to us and we will investigate for possible removal.

How long will it take to receive my purchase?

The BigSite does not process your order ourselves. On average, most of the listed products take 7-10 business days, depending on payment methods and the site`s policies. Once shipped, most ground shipping arrives in four days or less. If your purchase is unusually large and over 150 pounds as an example, it may require freight services which can take longer to arrive, up to several weeks in some cases.

All items are shipped by various locations and companies, so overall shipping times can vary as well. In addition, shipping can vary based on geographical location, weather conditions, etc.
 
Is there any BigSite return policy?
 
We do understand that sometimes, although rare, you may receive a product that does not function or is defective. Any return or customer service issue needs to be addressed with the seller or shipper of your item. Keep in mind, to save you time, some items not eligible for return to the shipper for whatever reason or defectiveness may have a manufacturer warranty and be returned as such to the manufacturer or warranty party for quicker response. We suggest if more than 30 days from purchase, or if you have a defective item, to contact the factory warranty department or customer service associated with your brand. With new items, the rule of thumb is REGISTER REGISTER REGISTER!! These days, registrations of your product usually can be done with a manufacturer  or brand`s website and once you are registered for a warranty it usually means instant response and minimal delay in case of defective merchandise. And, as well, you are usually guaranteed warranty protection down to the day of purchase under those programs as website registrations are free and documents your item.
